Not a bad bowling game, once you get the feel for how to move your mouse. If you select the mouse steering option, you can continue to guide the ball once you release it. So be careful about randomly moving your mouse as the ball is traveling down the lane, or you may be surprised at the result (like a gutterball). Part of the point of bowling is to see how many gold pins you knock over, which are then used to purchase ball upgrades, ball power-ups, and different styles of lanes. However...nothing to indicate how many points you need to purchase the ball or lane upgrades. I like to know what I'm shooting for, pardon the pun, when playing a game, or how else do you know if you're getting anywhere? That alone would lose the game stars, but lets add on the incomplete instructions. Here's another game that expects you to read 'symbol language.' I finally discovered that the symbol by my name shaped like (ll) is how you open up options and a written tutorial. When you just start out playing from the main menu, you don't know what the gold pins are for or how to spend them. And I only discovered that there are additional lanes by clicking on the scores icon and following the arrow pointing right. But again, no information on how to access those additional lanes. One other tip. Once your ball strikes the pins, the game doesn't automatically continue. You have to click on the screen to set up the next shot. Overall, this was fairly easy to bowl, somewhat frustrating to figure out what the game entails, and a complete mystery as to how to actually succeed because of a missing point system. That's where I'll give this game the gutter.
